Laguna's just the best, isn't he? Such a big doofus cutie pie. I've sent out plenty of pleading emails to the people whom I've thought have written the best Laguna stories, and only a few responded. However, I'm proud to showcase the work of the people who did respond to my pleas.

I wrote the following story in response to the dearth of Laguna and Raine fanfiction out there. They have so little time devoted to their story, yet it's the most important story in the game. Without Laguna and Raine, of course there would be no Squall. This wasn't supposed to be more than 3-4 chapters, but the two of them wanted their story told - and now I bring it to you.
